Greetings my Beautiful Backers!
In four days, this Saturday the tenth, at noon o'clock high, my second Kickstarter launches! Impure Blood, Volume 1 was a great success, but past performance is no guarantee of future results. Will we fly or will we fall? Could we experience a sophomore slump? I don't know. But I can tell you what I have planned.
Last campaign I discovered that I have a taste for live-streaming, which was good timing considering the months that followed. Join me Saturday at Noon CST and help me launch this thing with gusto!

I love giving away bonus comics, and I extra loved my theme bundles. So I'm bringing back the Steam-Fantasy bundle as a thank you to everyone who pledges within the first 3 days! Last campaign, every backer got ten bonus comics, so for those of you keeping score at home, that's 15 extra comics just for being an early bird!
And just like last time, I've got milestone bonuses for you to unlock every step of the way! I want them to be a surprise so I'm not going to unveil them all just yet, but I will say that one of them is most definitely in the Halloween spirit!
I'll be doing random, backer-exclusive art giveaways throughout the campaign, as well! Keep your eyes here and on my social media for when to back for your chance to win!

It's real now! The Impure Blood, Volume 2 preview page is up!
This is where I need a little help, though. Would you mind checking it out for me? Take a look and poke around a bit? I'm still working on the video at the moment, but do the reward tiers make sense to you? Do the graphics look good? Do they entice you? See any spelling errors?
This is all about making an awesome book for you, so I want to make sure that the page appeals to you too!

Start the clock and let the countdown begin, because we are just 3 weeks out from the launching the campaign for Impure Blood, Vol. 2!
Soooo... to celebrate, I just thought I'd drop the cover on you!

I had a lot of fun doing the art for this, and I'm really psyched (and nervous) for my sophomore Kickstarter. But I think I've got a good plan going! There's going to be the early bird special full of steampunk/fantasy goodies, some stretch goals and milestones that I'm really proud of, and I'm thinking an extra special little something for returning backers!
Keep your eye on this space for more updates! I can't wait! Let's prove that Impure Blood, Vol. 1 wasn't just a fluke!

If you guessed that the Kickstarter shipment of Impure Blood, Deluxe Edition: Volume 1 arrived, then you are correct!
And holy crap! One thousand copies is like, a lot! Couldn't resist having a little fun with them, though. Better get to shipping, huh?
I usually do 7PM, but think it's going to be around 8 tonight.
Times are most definitely tough right now, but there's still some joy to be had. Hope I brought you a little today.

Good News/Bad News

We were close! We were so close to being on schedule for fulfilling the Impure Blood, Deluxe Edition, Volume 1 Kickstarter.
But I should have known that with everything that's been happening, both here and around the world, that having the books in my hands before the end of June was too much to ask for.
I received this update itinerary from the printer last week.
6/24- Arrival at Long Beach Port
6/26- Transfer to customs warehouse
6/29- Customs release
7/7- Residential Delivery
So it's not so bad. Only two weeks later than anticipated. And that's still plenty of time to get them all shipped out to backers by the end of July. So we're not so much behind schedule as not as early as I would have liked.
BUT...!
I do have something very cool to share with you: This sweet proof video that the printers sent me!
If you missed the Kickstarter, don't worry. You still have 2 weeks to preorder your copy. Might be the best way to get your hands on one since there's probably not going to be any cons the next couple of years 😬
In other news: The last couple weeks I've been live-streaming on my Nathan Lueth Illustration Facebook Page while I work on commissions. It's been a lot of fun, and I've really enjoyed chatting with people and answering questions while I draw. Here's some of the stuff I've done the last couple weeks:
